Crotch Rope

A front view of a person wearing a crotch rope. A single column tie has been tied around their waist, with the knot in back. The rope comes forward between their legs, passes snugly over the crotch, and is tied to the waist line with a half hitch.

This is a super simple technique for putting rope over your partner’s genitals. It’s a building block for many other ties and a fun way to add a little extra sensation to a scene.

Step by step

A rear view of a person in a white bodysuit. A blue rope has been tied around their waist in a single column tie. The ends of the rope hang between their buttocks.

1Tie a column tie around the waist, with the knot in back.

This view is from the front, showing the rope passing between the legs and going up over the crotch to the waist rope. It passes under the waist rope and is pulled snug.

2Go through the crotch to the front of the body and pass under the waist rope.

The same view as before, but the two halves of the rope have been pulled to the sides. They now form a vee as they pass over the crotch and are about four inches apart when they pass under the waist line.

OPTION2aSome people like the rope right over their genitals and others prefer to split it so one line passes on either side of the genitals.

Experiment and see what you prefer.

OPTION2bYou can add knots to increase the sensation.
